The likes of Pacquiao, if he wants to take his fortune to greater heights in the political arena is a promising one. 

We already know that in politics money is a necessary evil. Look at the Marcoses, after bastardizing the whole Filipino nation during Martial Law years they are back to the limelight to savor the "happy life" that they once enjoy "without limit." And this is all because they have the "money to burn" and Filipinos have short memory. 

They easily forget. But in the case of Manny - who knows? I appreciate his recent media presentation as a "converted man" who now aims to become "pure" - walang  ALAK, BABAE at SUGAL, for short: ABS. Maybe as time unfolds he miht end up a "saint." And I have seen nobody but Pacquiao alone is doing it inside the ring: to meditate first before the fight in a corner and also after the fight. 

And he is doing it without nobody's dictation. His life is really interesting. Maybe he has a mission to accomplish in this world that only God knows.

I could see the reason why the BIR is hammering on Pacquiao's taxable income. There is a big difference in the amount paid in two years: year 2008 - P100M; while in 2009 - P7M only. Maybe the people around him are making "monkey business" out of his income. He should be glad Speaker Belmonte is giving a helpful tip for him to stop airing his side to the media and to go to the "right channels and contacts." He should forget his ties to GMA because she cannot help him anymore. He should be practical and reasonable.
