Kaban ni D_BystandeR: ANG PAG-USAB SA GIMBUT-AN, MAGDALA UG KAALAUTAN

This is a lesson they can hardly forget especially if, God forbids, they "change" their birthdays because of it. More than three decades ago, I remember a popular teenage actress who, because of uncontrolled obesity, submitted herself to |"slimming pills" which unfortunately cut short her life. To my mind, that could have possibly served a lesson to those who got the feeling of changing what nature has bestowed on them by entertaining themselves into the realm of fantasy like what's known as "plastic surgery."

 In the States, I had read in the papers how a lady victim of the worst incident of being bitten by a a dog had successfully transformed herself into a human being furnished with a new "human face" but with the expertise of those considered "experts of the trade." Locally, we might have some of those who try to meet the most challenging role of a "plastic surgeon" and offer their services at comparatively low rate but patients who submit to them should be ready to face the consequence or they better not venture into taking the risk.
