Kaban ni D_BystandeR: MAKALULUOY

I pity this guy, Sen. Bongbong Marcos, because as an offspring you have no other recourse but to defend to the "death" the honor or tattered honor of your parents. As children, one undeniable fact is that we cannot choose what kind of parents we want to have when we come out into this world. Good if your parents are reputable during their lifetime, like what happens to Pres. Noynoy whose both parents, Ninoy and Cory, are considered heroes and democratic icons of our country. But "poor" Bongbong, he has to suffer for the rest of his life what his parents did during their lifetime. 

While he is now "wallowing" in excessive wealth his parents had amassed during their "misguided and despotic reign" and even if he is now a senator of the land he cannot hide the fact that most of his countrymen hated their powerful family's role during martial law where human rights violations were "the rule of the day" and amassing wealth for their own aggrandizement was considered their primary goal in life amidst the cries and screams of the poor in utter hopelessness and abuse under the uncontrolled power of a ruthless ruler. 

Note: This is in reaction to Sen. Bongbong Marcos' complaint that his parents "personal effects" including the expensive shoes of her mother, Imelda, were not given "special care" to preserve them against destruction for historical importance.
