Instead of setting the record straight, Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia further put the issue about Tommy O giving P400M to Eddiegul for his road widening project from Naga City to Sibonga town, more muddled. She cannot hide the fact that in every controversy between Rama and Tommy, she always sides with Rama. And now, as if she knows better than Tommy about the "real score" of the controversy, she tries to dip her "dirty fingers" on it shamelessly claiming her idea to let the secretary of Public Works decide is "the correct one." And yet she knows she is just making a "conjecture" which in all likelihood would tend to favor Rama because of her "good political relationship" with the latter. If you try to go over the editorial opinion of "Sunstar" including all its columnists, (Sunstar is owned by the Garcia clan), you will find them all "ganging up" on poor Tommy accusing him of "not doing the right thing with the P400M" claiming it belongs to Rama for the city's development. I don't know what a distorted kind of reasoning it would be that Tommy in whose name the appropriation belongs now losses his right to decide on what to do with the "money" according to what he has carefully decided after weighing all the "intervening circumstances." Vice Governor Agnes Magpale, in a talk to media reporters fully agreed to the wisdom of Tommy's decision to give it to Eddiegul for the additional funding of his pet project claiming it will benefit far greater number of people considering the convenience of motorists plying the area when the project is completed. Magpale however refused to answer question about its propriety tossed to her by reporters for not giving it to Cebu City because it is an explosive political question which only Tommy can answer best. 

And independent observers are one in praising the move of Tommy to give it to Eddiegul because of its impact to helping a bigger number of people which would even affect the neighboring island travellers from Bohol and Negros using the accessible wharves in Argao, Toledo City, Ronda and elsewhere that serves the same purpose.
