Kaban ni D_BystandeR: ANG MUSIKA NI JASON

A couple of decades ago, Garth Brooks ushered country music into the arena age. The latest in that lineage of turbocharged country hunks is Jason Aldean.  By any commercial standard, Aldean is on a white-hot streak. As a touring act, he has graduated over time from 5,000 seat venues to stadiums. His last release, "My Kinda Party," was the best-selling country album of 2011 and ranked fourth across all genres. His hillbilly-rap hit "Red Dirt Anthem" became a hot ring tone. He even scaled the power ballad mountain with "Don't You Wanna Stay," his hit duet with Kelly Clarkson.  Aldean, 35, rocked his country early on. "When I had my first band together and we went on the road, we were playing bars where you had to learn how to play everything," he says. "I was probably 18 when that went down. We were playing rock stuff: a lot of Southern rock, old school rock. At that point I really started listening to everything, just because we had to learn to play everything. And I started realizing that a lot of the stuff I'd never heard before. I think that was the starting point of it all."  Country traditionalists may shudder at Aldean's penchant for suping up his country with a mix of '80's rock, pop and occasional rap. But Aldean's fans base, who bought more than a million tickets on his last tour, don't seem to mind. Neither does Aldean. "I know I'm not gonna please everybody when I make a record," he says. "I don't let that affect any of my decisions. There are people out there who are into traditional country music, and for those people you have artists like Brad Paisley and Josh Turner and Alan Jackson. 

Then you have artists with progressive style of country music, like myself and Eric Church  and Luke Bryan and Miranda Lambert.t's what makes it cool. If we all did the same kind of music, it would be boring."
