As fittingly described in this PDI editorial, there is no connection whatsoever with the case of Binay in 2007 where he defied GMA's order suspending him because of the question of legitimacy in GMA's presidency. 

And Gwen was at that time, a living symbol of how GMA conducted her governance because she was GMA's trusted "operator." The situation is now different because P-Noy, our beloved President, is the one giving that suspension order and he is our legitimate President with people's mandate not like GMA's victory in 2004. And they got the wrong notion that "what was true yesterday can also be true today." As if they did not know Gwen is now saddled with cases in the Ombudsman due to questionable transactions involving her purchase of "Balili-gate" and the construction of her "CICC." 

And to top it all is the suspension order she got out of her usurpation of the powers of the Vice Governor Sanchez, which indirectly caused him to meet his "Creator" that early.
