Kaban ni D_BystandeR: NALIWAT NI MAKOY???

Ferdinand E. Marcos during his time was considered a "leech" because having been entrenched in the "corridors of power" in Malacanang for more than two decades, it needs the US government to send a helicopter to "flush" him out of Malacanang to bring him to Hawaii in exile until he died there. 

And, believe it or not, we find a local Marcos counterpart in our very own Cebu in the person of Ex-Governor Gwen, for  after having been entrenched in her seat of power at the Cebu Provincial Capitol for three consecutive terms she doesn't feel like giving up her seat of power at the Capitol anymore despite a lawful order from Malacanang. And she was even quoted as saying, "Over my dead body!" I thought that saying is only made popular because it shows something like a man has reached the limit of his patience and became despondent and decided he doesn't value his life anymore. And we can call it a sign of "bravado" or "braggadocio," but neither of this behavior would fit to belong to a highly intelligent individual, much more the Ex-Governor. It is hoped that after everything else has settled down for good, she will be finally convinced and "enlightened" in accepting the fact of life that nothing here on earth is permanent except "CHANGE!"

Magtatampo usab siya isip magsusulat sa nasudnong magasin,  "Philippines Free Press" ug sa mga nag-unang peryodiko dinhi sa dakbayan sa Sugbo sa lunhaw pa ang iyang pangedaron. Nahimo siyang mamumuo sa usa ka pribadong kompaniya sa dakbayan sa Sugbo, ESCANO LINES, sulod sa napulo ug duha (12) ka tuig  dayon niyang tapon  ngadto sa NAPOCOR  ug nahimong kawani sa kagamhanan  sulod sa bayente dos (22) ka tuig.
