Beh, buti nga sa inyo! Sana maubos kayong lahat mga land-grabber. Dinamay pa ninyo ang gobyerno. The self-styled Sultan of Sulu (his title is doubtful because other "sultans" dispute this) and his bankrupt clan only wants to get Sabah for themselves. They only want to get a huge payday by getting Sabah and are pressuring the Philippine government to help them in their selfish motives under the pretense that they are doing this for the Filipino people. Bulshit! The so-called Sultanate of Sulu does not pledge allegiance to the Philippines nor to Malaysia. They are only loyalto themselves and their interest. They are just a land-grabbing family who forget that their days of "royalty" have long gone. Even if these landless feudal lords bring their case to the UN and ICJ, they will still lose. Despite the so-called "lease agreements," the people of Sabah have long determined in a 1963 plebiscite that they want to be part of Malaysia. The UN and the ICJ have long held that the principle of self-determination will always overturn ancient titles, treaties and agreements over land because if the reverse were true, the RP would still be US territory by virtue ofthe Treaty of Paris wherein the RP was sold by Spain to the US.

 Please review and study your history first before opening your mouth. "More talk, more mistake," the Chinese proverb says. The British gave it to Malaysia in 1963 instead of giving Sabah back to the Sultanate of Sulu after paying the rent for its lease for centuries. Your premise touching on Treaty of Paris  that as you claim would still make us under the US is false because of the declaration of independence granted to us on July 4, 1946. And please try to refer to your "dictionary" on the correct meaning of "land-grabbing." The Sultanate of Sulu by any stretch of your imagination would definitely not qualify the term "land-grabber" which you shamelessly foisted upon them. If you are a true Filipino you should be ashamed of yourself. Instead, you should ponder for any single life that will be lost in this struggle by the Sultanate of  Sulu to regain that piece of land which by any court of law they are the lawful and legal owner with the necessary papers to support their claim.

 And what do you call the independence given by the US to the Philippines??? It is an expression of self-determination wherein a people determines what government and laws will govern them. The Filipinos asked for independence, the Americans granted it notwithstanding their title by virtue of the Treaty of Paris because the Americans were afraid of another Fil-American war and it was getting more expensive to maintain a colony. Don't parade your limited knowledge. The so-called Sultanate of Sulu is but a bickering backward clan without any clout or international recognition. Any claim they have over Sabah has been nullified by the 1963 plebiscite. They are just simple land-grabber who drag the RP government into an international crisis.

 I do not have the expertise of the late Vice President Maning Pelaez who expounded on our Sabah claim together with the brilliant Sen. Jovy Salonga in the early 1960s in a forum held in USC, Cebu City. But both of them acknowledged the fact that we have the legal evidence in our hands based on the certificates in the possession of the heirs of the Sultanate of Sulu. The government of P-Noy can further reinforce and expound more on this because they have all the "bright minds" at their command to make a thorough research on this to help bolster that claim, if they want to. But regarding your claim that the Sultanate of Sulu has already lost their right to claim Sabah on account of that plebiscite you said was held in 1963, the legal experts on this can make a further research on whether the plebiscite was done in accordance with the established guidelines and procedure and a jurisprudence on this can be of help to determine if the staging of that was so intended by Malaysia to make it appear that it exactly followed  and resulted according to their script. The success of determining how valid is our claim, with the adherence of the Sultanate of Sulu, can only attain a conclusive objective if the P-Noy administration wants to follow through this process honestly with the end in view to find a final and equitable solution on this matter. Until then, your claim of dismissing the Sultanate of Sulu as a land-grabber is a hollow and preposterous assertion that no conclusive evidence could support it except by innuendos unsupported by facts that can really hold water.
