Kaban ni D_BystandeR: KINSA SI MARY ANN???

After reading this news report about City Councilor Mary Ann, especially with the interview portion where one can easily notice how she tries to smartly answer some pointed questions, what I knew about her is just a scant info I gathered from her previous political positions that she occupied before and up to the time she became elected to the Cebu City Council where she showed her rare technical know-how on what to do to find out who was trying to mislead some people about the proceedings that took place in the bidding for a possible contractor to handle the CCMC project. Before that, I tried to ask my lawyer son if he knows something about Councilor Mary Ann and he told me she was his classmate in USC College of Law. And he further said that Mary Ann was a well-known personality in their class as she was seen as a "born fighter," who fears no one to express herself in any kind of class discussion to settle a score. Mary Ann is a boon to the City Council and she is capable of reaching some of her political goals given the kind of a "fearless hard stuff" that she is.
