Kaban ni D_BystandeR: NAGKALAINLAING PANAN-AW MITUMAW SA MGA WALAY KLARONG KABALAYAN
The bone of contention used in this
column by the author, Aven Piramide, is that out of 5,000 houses constructed in
the areas concerned under the 93-1, he estimated that only 1,000 or 1/5 of that
is availing of Ordinance 93-1. While there are a lot of people who consider
this development a breakthrough out of a long standing social problem that
gives a headache to our political leaders involved, here comes Piramide who
wants to douse cold water to the emerging development. I don't know what to call
him because the thought that the city and province had already agreed in it as
a big possibility, this column thinks otherwise because he does not feel what
it is to be in the shoes of those they call, "with no roofs over their
heads."
Footnote: This comment came out in connection with a column
written by Aven Piramide in The FREEMAN, entitled, "Is it wise to use
P500M to buy 93-1 assets?" It came out on March 11, 2015.
