It is unfortunate that instead of upholding the right to vote as enshrined in our constitution to allow its bona fide citizens their right of suffrage, the Supreme Court has, in effect, allowed itself to be muddled by unpardonable, whimsical and capricious decision adopted by Comelec to disenfranchise an estimated 3M voters, just because of the 'no bio-no boto' policy of the  Comelec. What can the people do if the rules of the game are heavily stacked up against them? And there was the much talked about brouhaha about the "hocus-pocos" of the voting machines which were believed being programmed  to favor the administration's bets by assigning a certain number of percentage for the other party's candidates to assume a degree of acceptance that the  result is, indeed, an honest reflection of the people's mandate.
