When shootings have reached fever pitch, mainstream media, the New York Times, suddenly appeared with a twisted tale saying, "Digong's braggadocio did it."

When things go wrong, we resort to getting into the bottom of things to know why it happened. The situation portrayed by the New York Times is totally far out. It did not get into the truth behind the smokescreen. It simply impressed its unbridled bias on matters affecting the affairs of Filipinos who have their own identity and aspirations to protect.
