Kaban ni D_BystandeR: HASTA PINUY-ANAN SA MGA KABOS, GIPAMULITIKA???
This is the sign of the times. Many
things are coming up and what's strange to imagine is the conflict in the
choice of "misguided or misplaced" priority. It is common knowledge
that with the reckless decision of the City Hall under Mike Rama to veto the council
resolution sponsored by Councilor Alvin Dizon to observe a "one-year
moratorium" on demolition of houses belonging to the poor, the acute
problem of the poor to find adequate dwellings for their families to have
"roof over their heads" is found more pressing than ever and it's
highly necessary to look for a probable site for that purpose by people in dire
need. There would have been no problem if only the ugly face of politics is not
the overriding factor. And what is funny as it appears to be the preference or
priority of a barangay captain Nunilon Monares, who is clearly allied to Mayor
Mike is to guard the vacant place from people interested of erecting their
temporary shelter because Monares prefer to have the place be exclusively used
as a "tree nursery" rather than to accommodate those that were badly
displaced because of Rama's continuous demolition of houses of the poor.
Pagkatoytoy!
