It is clearly a sad day for SSS members to have a president in the person of BS Aquino who does not have the slightest sentiment to listen to the gripes and the pressing needs of poor SSS members who would prefer to favor the "highly fattened" SSS executives who continued to ransack the  finances of the SSS by receiving nearly P117M in salaries and other perks as per COA 2014 report as disclosed by Bayan Muna Rep. Neri Colmenares. The P2000 across-the-board pension increase intended to benefit the poor SSS members but blindly and irresponsibly vetoed by Aquino was already fully deliberated in Congress, with the original version said to be P5000 but was finally reduced to P2000 after some opposing parties succeeded to  reduce it to the barest minimum of P2000. But all the sacrifices that the poor SSS members were made to wait for its final implementation was further not enough for BS Aquino was already waiting for it on his table to  deliver the "death sentence" in the form of his unthinkable veto. While the poor pensioners were gladly waiting for it to help augment their poor financial resources to be able to buy their monthly medication requirements, here  comes Aquino grinning "from ear to ear" like what he did when he was pictured inspecting the tourist bus in Luneta park shortly after the gruesome incident  where 8 Chinese tourist from Taiwan were helplessly massacred inside the bus by a disgruntled police officer a few years ago.
