Kaban ni D_BystandeR: HAUM ANG PANAN-AW NI ATTY. FRANK

I really appreciate the opinion of Atty. Frank and with more reason that the impasse between the City Hall and the CPA will be handled with "cooler heads" rather than the "utak pulbora" brand. Months ago, I remember there was a point of conflict between him (Mike) and Tommy O and he was quoted as saying, as if to belittle Tommy's opinion, that he will not listen to Tommy because he is not a lawyer. But with this impasse going on and getting more scary day by day and with Mayor Mike obviously showing his "tantrums" and more aggressively willing to "go for broke" anytime, it looks like the "other alternative" suggested by Atty. Frank is more reasonable and workable than what Mayor Mike wants to happen to solve the problem about the CPA installing the fence which the mayor doesn't like. If the mayor is a lawyer worth his salt, why doesn't he give it a try to listen to Atty. Frank Malilong's advice?

Footnote: In his column, Atty. Frank Malilong suggested that Mayor Mike calls CPA officials into a conference to settle the matter peacefully instead of sending city police force to confront the CPA police and security guards who prevented the city's demolition team to tear down the fence erected by CPA in the vicinity of the city hall. And if it doesn't work, Atty. Frank suggested that City Hall files a case in court to settle the case, which according to Atty. Frank, is the ideal way in which lawyers are expected and supposed to do. And Atty. Frank mentioned that Mayor Mike being a lawyer should be guided as such to solve this brouhaha.
