Kaban ni D_BystandeR: KANHI HENERAL PALPARAN, NABISTO SA IYANG GILUMLOMAN!!!

I cannot understand why lots of sympathizers are posting comments exhorting this elusive fugitive, Jovito Palparan, who was known for his barbaric crimes committed against a big segment of innocent people whose only crime  was because of extreme poverty in the  countrysides they were mistakenly suspected as belonging to the NPAs. He got the moniker as "Berdugo" ng Central Luzon. He was only brave and ruthless when he was sporting that  uniform of a "fearsome" general whose trail of human devastation left hundreds or thousands  of human skeletons that included his UP victims Sherlyn Cadapan and Karen Empeno and activist Jonas Burgos, among others. It is good that the long arm of the law has finally caught up with him so he can face his accusers, the  relatives of his victims, in court.

Footnote: This comment came out in connection with a Philstar headline, "Jovito Palparan arrested in Manila." This is one of the good side of the  P-Noy administration because, unlike his predecessor, Gloria Arroyo, who rewarded those military officers involved in committing human rights violations but P-Noy is winning the trust and confidence of  the people by being strict to those military men who ran afoul with the law. Jovito Palparan, during GMA's term, was her favorite lapdog who committed abuses against the people in his desire to stifle  dissent from the highly corrupt administration of GMA. In the process, he was exalted by GMA and rewarded juicy position that even after his retirement from the military, he was able to become an elected congressman with GMA's full support.
