Kaban ni D_BystandeR: WALAY ANGAYANG KABALAK-AN ANG PAGHATAG UG USA KA GATOS KA PESOS
There's nothing for
Governor Junjun Davide to apologize for giving that measly sum of P100 to the grandmother of a kid KJ Labajo of Consolacion,Cebu who came out 3rd Place Winner in a national singing competition held in
Manila last July 27, 2014. If not for the fact that Gov. Jun has a heart that bleeds for the poor, he could have easily dismissed the monetary
solicitation of that grandmother who braved "great odds" in trying
her luck to ask for help from the Office
of the Governor when she is not even a
well-known political leader in her
barangay to deserve the governor's respect. Ug di pa maayong tawo ang atong
gobernador sayon ra unta to para niya ang pagpangita ug paagi aron dispatsahon
niya ang nangayo ug hinabang aron dunay
ika-plite paingon sa Manila ug di pa unta siyang kahatag ug P100! But this unexpected happening could possibly give him a lead to consider it a challenge for
him to exert more meaningful help to this promising kid whose mother sadly passed
away last Nov. 17. When the kid was asked who are the people he wants to extend
"his thanks" for his feat of winning in the singing contest, he lost no time by answering that
Cebu Governor's help of P100 has helped him a lot for defraying his travel
expenses and also by mentioning his
mother who died last November and whom he missed so much during that special
hour of his winning.
Footnote: This comment came out in connection with a Cebu Daily
News headline, "Davide apologizes to Voice contestant for small cash
aid." The Governor remembered
giving to the kid's grandma last July 23 saying P100 was his last money at that
time. Apan bisan pa ug P50 ray iyang gihatag pagka-ngan
