Kaban ni D_BystandeR: WALA MABANGBANG ANG BUL-OG SA PAGSALIG NGA GIHATAG NGADTO NI JOJO BINAY
Even if the P-Noy
administration-inspired demolition job against VP Binay reached its record
height culminating in the SBRC filing of plunder case in the Ombudsman against
him and signed by 10 senators even if the 21 SBRC inquiries were only hosted and
limited to the 3 Senate operators, Pimentel, Trillanes and Cayetano, it proved to be a no
big threat to the VP's popularity as the Pulse Asia poll survey came up with a
resounding trust people have given to VP Binay with 58% compared to P-Noy's
54%, which earlier suffered a nose-dive plunge when P-Noy, together with his
BFF Purisima, was involved in a decision that sent the 44 SAF commandos to
their graves in that gruesome massacre that took place in Mamasapano. And this
is not ordinary feat that VP Binay got
considering that the demolition job was so intense that if you try to see the
netizens' postings, most of them point out to how disastrous the evil campaign against him has positively
influenced to poisoning some of those we
categorize as gullible. But what is rewarding is the fact that it's really hard
to put a good man down. Binay's record as a consistent "man of the masses" can be proven in many ways. In
Cebu, for example, when there was a reported severe flooding that affected
several towns in the southern part of Cebu that claimed the lives of some
unfortunate residents plus a considerable damage to their houses and
infrastructure, VP Binay was there and there was no other national leader to
visit those places right after the disaster took place except VP Binay. And he
was there to give comfort and to sympathize with the people and he brought with
him whatever small token of sincere help he could offer to the people. And in
several instances everywhere around the country, you can always picture the
simplicity of the man and his being seen to be very relax in the company of the
common man in every "boodle fight" that he came into. And all these
are the characteristics of a true leader, a charismatic person that he is. And
he joins a group of supporters and well-wishers anywhere in the country without
a formidable throng of security to escort him where he is always swarmed by
people from all walks of life. And to get the highest record of trust among all
government officials is something that tells and supports the charisma that he
successfully built through the years as a veteran public servant and as a true
national leader.
