Miriam Santiago) has accomplished her  goals in life by engaging in activities aimed at improving the lives of the poor in her  position as an elected lawmaker in the senate. What good will it do if she lives  up to 90 like JPE and be involved and in prison due to "pork barrel scam."

Footnote: This comment came out in connection with a Banat News headline, "Senador Santiago may stage 4 lung cancer." Miriam says she does not smoke. But that kind of disease excuses no one. Sen. Gerry Roxas, who died several decades ago of lung cancer, was also a non-smoker.
