The title of this TF editorial doesn't make sense! What "friendly fire" is it talking  about when, in contrast with how TF  distorted the congratulatory move of  Tommy O, it has even boosted in no  small measure its moral standing before the eyes of the Cebuanos. No amount of destructive criticism by TF editorial  can ever erase the fact that the act of returning the money by some BOPK members has contributed to the favorable acknowledgement by majority of the right-thinking Cebuanos that BOPK under the tutelage of Tommy can always be expected as a beacon of moral guidance in the midst of some "money-making" schemes orchestrated by some City Hall "bright boys" trying to cover up their greed for personal aggrandizement under the pretext of a "calamity."

Footnote: This comment came out in connection with a TF editorial, "BOPK killed by "friendly fire." That editorial dismissed as "political" the move of  Tommy O to express delight on the positive response shown by some BOPK members who returned the "calamity aid" to the City Treasurer in the face of a complaint filed against it in the Office of the President by lawyer R. Delute.
