Kaban ni D_BystandeR: PAKYAS ANG KAGAMHANAN NI P-NOY SA PAGPANALIPOD SA MGA MAMUMUO???

I felt jolted inexplicably with the "soul-searching" questions posed by Atty. JBJ in this article that touched in details the gruesome incidents befalling to our brother Filipinos, our unsung hero "kabayans" who valiantly explored the other side of the planet away from their loved ones just so they can find gainful work and send something to their families at home to be able to compensate for the  economic helplessness if they chose to stay idly here in our country. I find his scathing observation a "big slap"to the failure of P-Noy's administration to register a sharp and loud protest to the world of what happened to our "kabayans" like the beheading of a Filipino worker in Libya, whose only "crime" committed was to work in that place even if he was not a Muslim.

That was a crazy reason, to begin with, that caused his being beheaded. And the Filipina mother, 53, with her two children - a 21-year-old son and a 14-year-old daughter, together with her husband - an Indonesian who also worked in Malaysian Airlines, they all perished with the downing of the Malaysian Airlines flight MH17 in the airspace of Eastern Ukraine carrying 298 passengers from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur. With these two cases alone, we heard nothing  officially from our government leaders issuing any statement deploring the  gruesome incidents to befall to our hapless countrymen. Has the government been so uncaring and indifferent that it can only show its interest to them when it acknowledges OFW's huge contribution of $24B to help prop-up our economy? This is the question which, I believe,  haunts forever the conscience of our countrymen whenever there's anything sad that befalls to our "kabayans" in their search for economic solutions to help improve the economic outlook of their families back home.
