Kaban ni D_BystandeR: KALANDRAKAS BAHIN SA "FLYOVER"

The Movement for Livable Cebu (MLC) seemed to be a bunch of people who try to tell the world that their group is the only credible entity who  knows how to manage traffic in the city and solve traffic congestion. Mike Rama who used his chairmanship of Regional Development Council (RDC) to show his clout as such by powerfully defeating the efforts of flyover  proponents like Congressman Raul del Mar of Cebu North District and  Congressman Tommy Osmeña of South District  (now running for Mayor  of Cebu City). Instead of favorably endorsing the two congressmen's pet projects on flyovers which they devoted so many of their man-hours in  making necessary follow-ups in Manila to have their projects finally  approved, Mike Rama unceremoniously chose to let its golden time elapsed without his endorsement thereby allowing it to die a natural death due to Rama's inaction. He based his decision not to endorse them mainly on the recommendation of this MLC, which in effect has made this group's  leaders arrogant and proudly considered themselves as an effective tool in providing "helpful" recommendation to RDC chairman to reject the idea about flyovers. They consider themselves as authority on traffic matters that they would not even listen to President Noynoy making his personal observation about favoring flyovers to solve Cebu City's traffic problems. Just because a man appointed as RDC chairman listened to them for purely political reasons they now capitalize in that sole incident to gloat over their success. This MLC group suddenly found  themselves with "swollen heads" and they consider their feat as a "remarkable" accomplishment they seemed to brag to the whole world that they got a "fool-proof" data.  

They forget to consider the political aspect that Rama's power is not forever and that it is only temporary and is co-terminus with his position as City Mayor of Cebu. But after the election is over as it is very clear as the sun rises in the East   that after a long and challenging night, Tommy will be declared the winner and be proclaimed the people's popular choice to retake his role as the beloved Mayor of Cebu City to replicate the role of his father, the ever popular Serging Osmena whose undying legacy of good government to the Cebuanos will forever serve as indelible footprints of his public service to the people which Tommy ably followed with the same vigor and dedication. And with Rama out of the political map it will be easier for the flyover proponents to revive their lost opportunity.

Nahimo siyang mamumuo sa usa ka pribadong kompaniya sa dakbayan sa Sugbo, ESCANO LINES, sulod sa napulo ug duha (12) ka tuig  dayon niyang tapon  ngadto sa NAPOCOR  ug nahimong kawani sa kagamhanan  sulod sa bayente dos (22) ka tuig.
