Kaban ni D_BystandeR: LEKSYON ANG MAHIMUNG LINUGDANGAN SA DILI MAAYONG BINUHATAN

This case should serve as a lesson that henceforth police authorities should issue a directive to all security agencies under its command that in cases where it involves suspicion of shoplifting, the suspected "shoplifter" in order to avoid a similar case where the victim died in the hands of an in-house store security guards through violent man-handling should pass through the normal process where the suspect is brought to police station and corresponding charges be recorded and filed, stipulated and processed according to accepted police  procedures. And that bringing the suspect inside an "interrogation room" which at times also serves as a "death chamber" be strictly outlawed with stiff penalty imposed to violators. Company abuses like this cropped up with the connivance of security guards behaving like they are "licensed to kill" inside the "interrogation room" because there is nobody to witness what they are doing to the "suspect" except through autopsy findings which they know the company can easily get "off the hook" with "influence and money" applied to the authorities and especially like this man Dr. Satur. This "Ducayag case" would have ended "no sweat" to those involved in the crime if there was no independent second autopsy conducted by the NBI. 

It's high time for Dr. Satur, medico-legal officer of PNP to tender his resignation for good. And it could be remembered that the boy's father was in prison for suspicion of rape of a child of a neighbor where the victim's father was known to have issued a threat that his revenge would be "more painful." 

At the time of the incident, the boy's pregnant mother was out visiting her husband in jail and the boy was left alone in their house. The 2nd autopsy requested by the boy's mother from the office of the NBI because she cannot accept the autopsy report of Dr. Sator even had to forego the burial of her son for a day or two. The resulting 2nd autopsy examination gave a "different story" thereby showing Dr. Satur's first autopsy report was a big flop!
