Kaban ni D_BystandeR: LAMA SA IMAHEN NI MAYOR RODY ANG KALAMBIGITAN SA SINALIGANG POLIS SA KRIMEN

This case involving Supt. Leonardo A. Felonia will surely put a black spot in the "highly respected" name of Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte. Being Duterte's bet for the position as the next Police Chief in Davao City, Felonia's involvement in the murder of businessman Richard King as pointed out by the three  captured criminal suspects, does not augur well for the image of Duterte especially that the alleged "mastermind" Felonia has made it a point to personally surrender to him (Duterte) right after being pinpointed as such. The fact that Felonia was accorded a "special treatment" that no arrest was made to him but instead was allowed to swiftly transfer to his mother unit in Manila is a palpable sign that "special favor" is extended to him because he is a "bata-bata" of Mayor Duterte.

With this sensational crime coming up with Col. Felonia of Davao blistering in the forefront as the known "mastermind," we can only sigh desperately in frustration with the muddled image of our police force. Not contented with the latest caper of the senior police officers involved with the contemptuous sale of high powered firearms to the NPAs, now another  senior police officer is involved and pointed to as the mastermind by the three captured suspects in the murder of a well-known Cebuano businessman Richard King. Is this a blatant display of moral breakdown and growing loss of discipline coming out with our present crop of police officers?
