Kaban ni D_BystandeR: NAGKALISOD UG SAMOT ANG TAGA MAHIGA?

I cannot understand why Mahiga Creek settlers have become the easy target of Mayor Mike's political persecution. Not contented with what he has done for ordering the demolition of their houses along the creek May last year, the poor Mahiga settlers who were relocated in city-owned Block 27 in Northern Reclamation Area (NRA), are now threatened anew with Mayor Mike's penchant to screw up their lives a little harder this time by ordering their water connections cut-off recently. 

The people know of his next move: To cut-off their power connections.  When apprised of Tommy's help extended to these poor families by arranging water supply to the area costing P2,000 in one day charged to Tommy's pocket, Mayor Mike criticized his political "partner" turned political "nemesis," that Tommy is always doing the opposite of what he does. All these acts of Mayor Mike is mind-boggling. How come this guy finds happiness in inflicting difficulties in life to the poor Mahiga Creek settlers? He want to threaten them with destruction of their modest tents (through his henchman Alvin Santillana) to hasten their transfer to Budlaan, a proposed relocation site which after a lapse of one year still remains not habitable. 

Does he want to kill all these people? And when he sees Tommy helping these people he is seen misinterpreting it as a challenge to his authority as City Mayor?  We know there is always an end to everything synonymous with cruelty: The Martial Law regime of dictator Marcos; the most hated regime of GMA; and even the biblical persecution of King Herod who ordered the beheading of infants two years old and below - all of these had come to pass. Though it will give false belief to the "tyrant" that his authority is forever, he will one day learn he is only a victim of himself, believing of his authority to be endless!
