Note: This is about a news item where a high-rise condo unit located about a kilometer away from Luneta park has become the object of controversy where the City Council of Manila questioned why building permit was granted to the developer when the proposed structure will "obstruct" the clear view of the Luneta park. This could be an offshoot of a looming "political battle" between Erap and Mayor Lim with the announcement by Erap that he will run for Mayor of Manila against Mayor Lim. Vice Mayor Isko Moreno, who is now in Erap's side is trying to block what it considers as a "plus factor" for Mayor Lim perhaps to give weight to Erap's claim that Manila has been left behind in developments going on in the neighboring cities. That is what I consider that "politics' ugly face" is now raring its head in Manila City government that a positive gesture of development is being "blocked" for shallow reasons. redkinoko wrote , in response to D_BystandeR:  The "This is it" you mean is both an eyesore and good for only a few.
