Once again, another Boholano is recognized to lead a prestigious and elite police bureau of the NBI based on his exemplary record in a promotion that will surely serve as an inspiration to those who want to reach the topmost position based on merit and hard work. Boholanos are greatly honored because of their rich heritage of heroes and prominent personalities led by Sikatuna in the historic blood compact with Legazpi, to the fearless rebel chieftain Dagohoy, and to President Carlos P. Garcia, who was known and remembered about his "Filipino First Policy." And the Boholano who invented the battery used in the vehicle taken by the first American Austronauts who landed in the moon in 1960.
