Kaban ni D_BystandeR: SI MAYOR JVR ANG GIHAN-OKAN SA KAGULIYANG SA TALISAY???

This editorial failed to consider the intervening data which drove Mayor JVR to call that second graduation rites in front of the city hall. In the first place, it is the failure of Richel Bacaltos to vacate his post to give way to Mayor JVR's recommendee, Dr. Paulus Canete, that caused all these unwholesome happenings in TCC.

If only the previous administration of former Mayor Brad Soc did not appoint Bacaltos as TCC President and gave the incoming Mayor JVR the discretion to appoint a qualified man of his own choice, all these "untidy intramurals" could have been prevented. "Midnight appointments" always create a cause for inevitable disagreement and this is now the outcome where we have two  TCC Presidents. Mayor JVR is facing a two-pronged group of political adversaries: one from the opposition and the other from JVR's own VM Villarante and Councilor Diaz. If we try to closely analyze the whole situation, there are several factors causing the current "problem" in Mayor JVR's administration but what appears is that everything is blamed to the Mayor and this is certainly not fair!
