Kaban ni D_BystandeR: ANG KASIKAS SA DUMANJUG

I am not privy to the heated personal argument between the two top leaders of Dumanjug (during the recent barangay polls) but basing it from the previous actuation and the propensity to resort to the "use of force" by any member of the Garcia clan, I am inclined to believe that the Dumanjug mayor is "more apt" to commit acts leading to "utak pulbora" mentality considering their "grandeur to power" during the time of Gov. Gwen where even Byron Garcia could not hide his uncontrolled "hot-headedness" when he challenged former Region 7 head General Marcelo Garbo into a fistfight in Abellana Sports Center with the good General politely declining to engage in the fight and instead suggested to Byron to challenge Manny Pacquiao because he (the general) is not a boxer.

And this Mayor Nelson, not to be outdone, at the time when VG Magpale was installed as Acting Governor of the province vice Gov. Gwen who was suspended for six months, came out "swinging" with a council resolution of his town of Dumanjug declaring Magpale "persona nongrata" or a "person not welcomed" in Dumanjug as if he personally owns the whole town of Dumanjug.

Again the dirty signs of politics playing into the hands of the town leaders of Dumanjug can be seen raring its ugly head. The P500,000-check given by Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte to Dumanjug and received by Vice Mayor Efren Gica (a personal friend of Mayor Duterte) is reported to be returned by Mayor Nelson Garcia claiming his town does not need it, probably because he felt slighted by the fact that it was his Vice Mayor, and not himself, who received it from Duterte for Dumanjug town. His reason is that his town did not suffer anything out of the last powerful earthquake. But as a good father of his town and because the money was given out of generosity of the Davao City Mayor to his town people, the problem as to who received the check from the donor is immaterial and could have been easily patched-up, i.e., if only they belong to the same political party.

The return of the check itself can be interpreted as a great insult by the donor-party and it will be understood as a "slamming arrogance" on the part of the Dumanjug Mayor doing it.

Nahimo siyang mamumuo sa usa ka pribadong kompaniya sa dakbayan sa Sugbo, ESCAÑO LINES, sulod sa napulo ug duha (12) ka tuig  dayon niyang tapon  ngadto sa NAPOCOR  ug nahimong kawani sa kagamhanan  sulod sa bayente dos (22) ka tuig.
