Kaban ni D_BystandeR: KUSOG PAS MANATAD SI MIKE KON LINUGPITAY NA SA MGA KABOS???

Mayor Mike Rama is known to be "very fast" when it comes  to ordering for the demolition of houses belonging to the poor informal settlers but when it comes to performing his official duty to comply to a lawful request from COA Regional Director of Region 7 seeking his comment on the recommendations contained in Annual Audit Report (AAR) for calendar year 2012 he is a dismal failure. And when asked to initiate the filing of malversation charges to compel errant employees involved in the P101M unliquidated cash advances to shed light on their unpaid monetary obligations he "threw back the request to COA to initiate the filing of charges themselves" claiming he cannot  comply to give favorable action to said request "because he finds his hands are already full of his job as city mayor."

This is a blatant dereliction of duty for which he was sworn to uphold that the interest of the city government is duly protected from any kind of malfeasance. Why can he not ask the Office of the City Attorney to study the request of COA to initiate the filing of charges to employees concerned so that the city's interests will be amply protected and correspondingly enhanced? Does Mayor Mike only consider the job of a city mayor only for glamorous  undertakings and that he can discharge his duties only by choosing what obligations to merit his "likes or dislikes" in a  selective manner? And he was quoted in the report that he only wants to do something for "those unliquidated cash advances" that took place starting his term as city mayor in 2010?
