ANG TINGOG SA KATAWHAN MAOY TINGOG SA GINOO
Controlling the Senate cannot
be counted as a matter of foregone conclusion with the way things are going
right now for Team Pinoy. It means that irreconcilable differences and party
interests still play significantly in shaping the Senate leadership after 2013 elections.
Senator Johnny Enrile's grip on
his post may be slipping away, his mantle of leadership crumbling but he is not
alone in the Senate. His minions and rabid supporters may still put up a fierce
fight to create the atmosphere of opposition, granting team PINOY delivers a
convincing victory.
By and large, the people should
be vigilant. At this point, we don’t have not much time to listen to verbal
tussles as we welcome the newly-elected officials. Let's be fair in giving them
all the benefit of the doubt to lead us. After all, they represent our voice.
The voice of the people is the voice of God.
