Kaban ni D_BystandeR: ANG KADAUGAN NI MIKE
I don't think the message is fair for "Super Bob" to tell Tommy O about letting his "boys" cooperate with Mike Rama. In the first place, the duty of those who belong to the opposition, as what the BOPK city councilors appear to be, is to act as fiscalizer. Betraying their sworn duty and obligation to act as Rama's "rubber stamp" instead, I'm afraid, is not in the best interest of the city's taxpayers who want to see somebody is watching how the city's coffers will be used and utilized to its maximum objective for Cebu's progress. In the past, the mayor's moves have shown that our poor city settlers we call informal settlers have to enlist the help of the BOPK city aldermen to assist them to parry the "heat" the city hall has done to their group which in some cases would look unreasonable because it would amount to political persecution as they were perceived as supporters of Tommy.
It is hoped this Rama victory will become a challenge for him to be magnanimous in his dealings with the poor and not to use this to punish and screw more the difficult situation of the political supporters of Tommy.
