Kaban ni D_BystandeR; HAOM BA ANG MAPINTAS NGA SENTENSEYA???

This case highlights the implication that the court gives more meaning and importance to an elected personality as viewed against the wisdom and prerogative of a media practitioner to voice out what he thinks was the boundary between the portrayal of a person with corrupt practices and the truth that the commission of same is abominable under any kind of honest and just interpretation. I submit to the hard-hitting comments of Leo as a very effective tool to serve as a deterrent and a warning to those government officials who consider their  position as a trip ticket to commit nefarious transactions depriving the taxpayers of the benefits of their hard-earned money which would only siphon money to their (politicians') pockets. The emergence of the P10B pork barrel scam which hit the headlines lately could have provided a good opportunity for Judge Raphael Yrastorza to tinker his decision with prudence and practicality to refrain from giving a harsh judgment against Leo.

But this is not the end of the road for Leo for he can still appeal his case to the CA. Who knows, there are still some  pertinent facts of the case that were overlooked by the judge. From a rejoinder that I read from Leo, he has a valid reason to expect a favorable outcome of his projected appeal to the CA. I wish him the best of his efforts to succeed in his crusade for seeing a good and responsive government in the hands of honest and deserving-respect political leaders.
