That's what made Janet Lim-Napoles distinctly different from other prisoners and practically made her become an elite prisoner - engaging herself in a scam that made her rub elbows with the lawmakers making senators and congressmen as her clients that catapulted her to the throne of being known as the brains behind the "mother of all scams" specializing in how pork barrel of lawmakers should be manipulated with the sharing of 60-40 and in some cases 70-30, with the bigger share all in favor of the lawmakers leaving crumbs to poor Juan dela Cruz where the money was supposed to be given to uplift theirpoor living conditions.

It is no wonder in the Philippines the poor becomes poorer and the rich gets richer because of the  connivance of the corrupt with those in the higher echelons of the government. If Napoles is given a "special treatment" when she surrendered in Malacanang last Wednesday, (08/28/13) by transferring her from the Makati City Jail, the place where  Makati RTC Judge Elmo Alameda earlier committed her in the beginning, but then after Napoles' lawyer Lorna Kapunan petitioned the court for her transfer to a much more decent place away common prisoners, she is now spending her time inside an air-conditioned room in Fort Sto. Domingo, in Santa Rosa, Laguna. The changing of prison cell is expected because Napoles is no ordinary human being. The reason for the "special treatment" is that they want "to keep her alive" to be able to face her case in court without becoming a rubout victim just like what happened to two Ozamis City prisoners considered as senior members of that robbery group who got killed at the hands of their captors on their way to National Bilibid Prison under mysterious circumstances. But the case of Janet Napoles is starkly different from what happened to the two Ozamis City prisoners because their clients were only  officers and men of PNP whereas Napoles' clients are senators and congressmen, and they belong to a special brand of "buayas"  masquerading themselves as lawmakers. That Napoles will have a special treatment as a prisoner is a given as most of those she has rubbed elbows with are still in the "corridors of power" and they cannot afford to let her down.

 If the IMF head was immediately whisked inside a prison cell of common criminals in New York City when news broke out he raped a black housekeeper inside his room in a plush hotel of $3,500 per day; if Congressman Ronald Singson, the son of Chavit Singson of Ilocus Sur, was immediately incarcerated in a Hong Kong jail with common criminals after it was known he was carrying even a "small quantity of drug" for his personal use; but to Janet Napoles it could not happen because she is a different bred of prisoner and she needs a special prison cell - an air-conditioned one. The reason why she was taken out of the Makati City Jail was that a woman by the name of Cadelina Domingo who worked as their househelp whom she had accused for qualified thief by stealing her underwears and jackets is presently serving prison for six months and because of that, the threat to Napoles' life is considered real and imminent.

Just how long  and how breath-taking  the succeeding events will define her life in the  near future is anybody's guess. But one thing is certain that the P10B  scam she is associated with will forever haunt the minds and soul of the Filipino taxpayers with some lingering questions no end.

Nahimo siyang mamumuo sa usa ka pribadong kompaniya sa dakbayan sa Sugbo, ESCAÑO LINES, sulod sa napulo ug duha (12) ka tuig  dayon niyang tapon  ngadto sa NAPOCOR  ug nahimong kawani sa kagamhanan  sulod sa bayente dos (22) ka tuig.
