Our one and a half month's stay in Cebu has been rendered more splendid, more unforgettable with the series of "eating" 

invitations showing your true and consistent manner of showing our importance to your family thus, further strengthening the bond of 

our connections as loyal and diehard members of a family tree dating back to the time when, as a young boy, I used to spend my Christmas 

vacation together with my Mama Paz and Papa Basyo in your house in Calero with Mama Meming and Papa Pinong in countless settings where we took breakfast together with the family savoring the tasty hot "pan de sal" and "sikwate" and mantikilya (star margarine) on the table. 

And I can still vividly remember the name of your brown colored pet dog named "Ahos." And the unforgettable experience of seeing a movie in "Star Theater" in Colon street where the Gaisano Bookstore used to  stand (which I considered my "first" movie experience) with your company. It was there during my stay in your house with my parents that I came to know some of our relatives like Impyong, Ever, the late Pros, Flora, Fe and others. And I still remember the time when Inday Edith would ask me to accompany her to get her pics from a studio, and also going to hear mass in Redemptorist Church riding a "tartanilya" of old which was at that time considered "king of the road." All these things provided a "flashback" in my memory and before 

I forget, I will make a special mention of your prominent "starring participation" of a popular DYRC radio drama entitled "Unos Sa Kalawran" which was a big "hit" during early sixties not only in Cebu but also in Mindanao where I could still vividly recall my sisters proudly "boasting" their claim to whoever they could talk to that you are our cousin especially with the superb way you carried your "assigned starring role" with your baritone voice exuding your confidence and excellence in delivering your flawless Cebuano dialect. All of these things interconnected with the golden memories of old had completely made our stay in Cebu a worthwhile thing to remember. 

Again, these unforgettable gestures of refreshing the bond of our family tree is personally considered an undying proof of a family treasure which no amount of time can ever erase the indelible imprint of our ancestral ties dating back its beginning and origin. - Your cousin - Ondo.

(Bug-os ang  pasalamat sa KAHAYAG ngadto sa nagsulat niining  paambit   nga si JOHNNY LOVE. Bag-ohay pa lamang siya nga mibalik sa Amerika human sa mga usa ka bulan nga bakasyon dinhi sa Pilipinas.  Nagtakuban siya sa pangalan, "D_BystandeR".  Natawo siya sa Sugbo apan anaa na karon manimuyo sa Illinois sa tinipong nasod sa Amerika. Ang kusog nga koneksyon sa kasayuran pinaagi sa internet kanunayng naghaling sa iyang kadasig  pagtuki sa mga nagbukalbukal nga hisgutanan dinhi sa atong nataran. Usa siya ka magsusulat nga gradwado sa kursong komersiyo padulong sa pagka accountant sa University of San Carlos kaniadtong tuig 1961.  Nahimo siyang miyembro sa usa ka hugpong sa mga batan-ong magsusulat nga gitawag ug STUDENT PRESS.  Nahimo usab siyang   Associate Editor sa basahon  USC-JPIAN sa tuig 1962-63. Magtatampo usab siya isip magsusulat sa nasudnong magasin,  "Philippines Free Press" ug sa mga nag-unang peryodiko dinhi sa dakbayan sa Sugbo sa lunhaw pa ang iyang pangedaron. Nahimo siyang mamumuo sa usa ka pribadong kompaniya sa dakbayan sa Sugbo, ESCANO LINES, sulod sa napulo ug duha (12) ka tuig  dayon niyang tapon  ngadto sa NAPOCOR  ug nahimong kawani sa kagamhanan  sulod sa bayente dos (22) ka tuig. Niadtong tunga-tungang bahin sa tuig 2000, nilalin siya ngadto sa tinipong nasod sa Amerika ug sulod sa napulo (10) ka tuig, nagtrabaho siya sa  buhatan sa kagamhanan sa nasod sama  sa  UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE (USPS).  Karon sa pangedaron nga 67,  gihuptan gihapon niya ang walay pagkutat nga kadasig ug walay busganan nga kaikag sa pagpaambit sa iyang nahuptang abilidad  ug kabatid sa panulat.  Dili niya mapugngan ang kaugalingon sa pagpaambit sa iyang mga hunahuna labi na kon molambigit kini ug hisgotanan nga makadani sa iyang mga mata.)
