My two cents:

I used to admire her when in her lonesomeness she goes against the Supreme "8" at the Supreme Court. Whatever happens to her I think the system swallowed her including her principle.

It's really hard to be in the shoes of Chief Justice Sereno, considering that most of those posting partisan opinions expect and want her to "toe the line of her appointing power otherwise she is regarded as "ungrateful" or "walang utang na loob." But when you are already inside and practicing what is expected of you as the Chief Justice, she has to do away with her "partisan" cloak and act like what is expected of her as the epitome of that "Lady Justice" with blindfolded eyes that bows to no one except to Truth, Fairness and Justice.

My two cents: (to D_BystandeR)

I don't think PNoy wanted her to toe the line or influence her for that matter, the man is just asking them to be fair and read the constitution in-depth so they could help their countrymen (appealing to their lofty legal careers).
