Kaban ni D_Bystander: KINSA SI DONALD TRUMP???

More than a couple of years ago, I read in one of the prestigious news sources in the U.S. that for somebody to run for president in the U.S., one needs $20M to $25M as his personal outlay to run a reasonable campaign in a capable manner to see a modest outcome of his dreams. In the U.S.., the present intrusion of  Donald Trump, a well-known business mogul, into the presidential hopefuls of the  GOP is bringing something of an embarrassment to those who are throwing their hats on it. Jeb Bush, a strong contender for the position, who is a former governor of Texas and who belongs to a family of presidents, his father and elder brother,  both the 40th and the 42nd U.S. Presidents, did not say anything well for Trump's bombastic statement against the Mexican immigrants when he tried to throw harsh comments to the Mexicans as a bunch of "rapists and other lawless groups," that  entered into the U.S. And Trump's statements against the Mexicans have created a devastating effect to his business interests such that the Univision president declared to stop its viewing of the Miss Universe pageant promoted by Trump.  And many other big businesses have adversely reacted to Trump's careless  comments about the Mexican immigrants in the U.S. And in our country, our politicians have not shown any convincing move that it is openly and sincerely trying to uplift the people's misery from the bondage of crippling poverty. If there is an honest campaign waged to get rid of the drug menace in the country, how come there is always a never-ending arrest of some people for possession of  illegal drugs amounting to millions of pesos. And the poor in the countrysides, finding no other visible decent jobs offered by the government to the people are finding themselves the unwilling victims as some of the poor are caught as drug pushers or drug couriers just to earn a living. And this is hard to understand why the proliferation of drugs still continue to hug the news headlines everyday despite the  relentless campaign by the police authorities.
