Kaban ni D_BystandeR: MGA GAWAY SA BALAOD MILITAR NAGPABILIN???

It looks like the tentacles of martial rule is slowly getting into the picture with military and police authorities getting more increasingly aggressive to assert the power of  their uniform in trying to impose their arbitrary way of detaining some people with  legitimate gripe over some legal procedures that appeared not normally followed by the police when they apprehended her client in SM Mall-San Lazaro. The reason  for lawyer Claire Castro, also a DZMM host of an evening program "Usapang de Campanilla," to become "hysterical" in her verbal attempt to disentangle her client from being detained in the MPD Women's Section is within the legal parameters that she, as a lawyer, can validly use to put sense into the arresting officer but the lawyer was instead likewise detained as she was charged of "slander by deed, obstruction  of justice" and for being hysterical inside the room. In another case, a radio Inquirer reporter, Ruel Perez, was harassed by one who introduced his name as "Major Arsenio Reparip," who pushed the reporter outside the room while still interviewing lawyer Castro. The "major problem" claimed that the reporter harassed him when he insisted to know his full name. The propensity of government authorities to insult and abuse 'the lawful rights of the citizens who just want that the law be strictly followed and to stress that civilian supremacy ought to be respected by the military and police at this time reminds me of how powerful were the military and police before during the Marcos regime where it is the "barrel of the gun" that reigns supreme.
