Kaban ni D_BystandeR: ANG KABUS GISAMUTAN UG DUOT???

Asked if they will be given financial assistance by the city government, lawyer Collin Rosell, head of DWUP, said they will still check if they are entitled to benefits according to their guidelines. This refers to the remaining houses in city-owned lot in barangay Mabolo which is scheduled for demolition today, November 11, 2012. The city management under Mike Rama has time and again shown its lukewarm attitude to the plight of the poor settlers in the city. They don't care if these people will die of hunger as a result of their present predicament. This is once again, a glaring example of how Mike Rama treats  the poor settlers in the city. They do not consider the young children in the family who are the most affected in  this recent demolition campaign. Why can't they just wait until Christmas which this group critically asked so they can still make a little time to plan and to properly adjust their next move when they transfer to another place? It is easy for us to believe that the urgent transfer was necessitated not because it was "between life and death" if they cannot do it as scheduled.

 As I said earlier, this is a glaring example of how "indifferent and detached" is the Rama administration to the present realities obtaining in the lives of our poor brothers involved in this demolition of "houses" without a "conscience."
