Kaban ni D_BystandeR: MGA KASIKAS MAHITUNGOD SA FLY OVER

Just because Mike Rama opposed the construction of flyovers sponsored by his political opponents, the Del Mars, Ex-Congressman Raul del Mar and the incumbent Congresswoman, her daughter Cutie, these people belonging to MLC (Movement for a Liveable Cebu) are now trying to assume they have the power to block a project already approved for implementation and to which these two personalities, father and daughter, have exerted their efforts and sacrifices to make that dream into a reality and to show to their constituents that they are doing it for their own good. In politics, if you are able to have your proposed project approved in Manila and ready for implementation, the other problem will come from your political enemy especially if that man has a built-in support of a group of people to put-up a fight to block that project. I've read some of the reasons advanced by this group as their alternative solution and that they prefer road widening instead of a flyover but the problem is that it will be more costly to undertake because by then you will have to consider the complicated work that it entails in the  expropriation of the private lots and the huge financial costs it needs.

 In short, why don't they run for an elective position if they believe they are supporting a valid cause to find out if the majority of the people will vote for them?
