Kaban ni D_BystandeR: NAGKATIN-AW ANG KUTAY SA HUSTISYA ALANG NI RUBY

It's always the case when people "drunk" with wealth and power in their hands, they think and move like the gods of "Olympus" in the Greek mythology. As if they have the absolute power to decide over "life and death" of a human being and ever confident that with their acquired influence in "almost everything" they think they can hide their guilt and get away with it. This refers to the murder case of Ruby Rose Barrameda whose murder took place 5 years ago and the suspects are: her husband Manuel Jimenez III, a lawyer; her father-n-law Manuel Jr.; and her uncle Lope Jimenez. The suspects are considered rich and influential hence, we can see lots of delay to speedily resolve the case and put the guilty parties behind bars. It involved a series of legal maneuvering on the part of the suspects' lawyers

that they were able to have the case reraffled to another judge by the Court of Appeals 10th Division from a Malabon City Judge Zaldy Docena. The confessed killer Manuel Montero, instead of being considered a state witness by virtue of Judge Docena's ruling was reverted back to his former position as per CA ruling. 

But the parents of the murder victim who trooped to the NBI Office to see Robert Ponce, the latest suspect arrested by the NBI expressed satisfaction that it could be an indication that the case is now moving forward because of the latest arrest made even without anybody prodding them. NBI is now headed by a new appointee of P-Noy replacing Gatdula who was sacked by the President after a conflict with the Bureau of Immigration. Alas, I'm beginning to connect the dots that when our President Noynoy shows the good example of doing the right thing at the top everything underneath will just follow suit. 

It will not be for everything done to result in a sudden solution coming out positively but we can see the positive signs showing up and surely taking place in view of what our good President P-Noy is doing to set a good example to those working under him not like before during GMA's reign where everything was in disarray because she was setting "the bad example."
