Kaban ni D_BystandeR: AROGANTE???

What they did when they started the demolition of the first 14 families stripped of their structures they call their "homes," is the height of arrogance of the city government under Mike Rama. During the time of Pres. Ramon "Monching" Magsaysay, whose popularity as the "man of the masses" is still felt and largely missed up to now, he made the popular and unforgettable saying which says, "He who has less in life should have more in law." The poor people living in that city-owned lot do not argue about its ownership but what they only wanted was a little consideration from the "powerful people in the city hall," but it falls in deaf ear. These poor people have little children with them to care for no matter how miserable their lives are and where will they go if it rains? When the pangs of hunger registered in the faces

of their young children begin to scrape their little stomachs' emptiness and looking for food is bothering them no end, what will they do? Mike Rama as the father of the city should have pondered this over. The helplessness of the poor is what shocks the heart and soul of the people concerned of their sad plight. 

But to Rama even a short extension to be given to the poor in a few days' time to allow them to bundle and to salvage whatever small things (which to us are already "junks") but which to them is still considered a "big treasure" and to which they still consider usable to them when they transfer to a new place wherever it will be, is a big "NO!" to Rama because he has no heart and soul for them?

Nahimo siyang mamumuo sa usa ka pribadong kompaniya sa dakbayan sa Sugbo, ESCANO LINES, sulod sa napulo ug duha (12) ka tuig  dayon niyang tapon  ngadto sa NAPOCOR  ug nahimong kawani sa kagamhanan  sulod sa bayente dos (22) ka tuig.
