Kaban ni D_BystandeR: WALA MAGMALAMPOSON ANG HUNGAW NGA PANAN-AW BATOK NI OBAMA

Note: My reaction to CDQ's opinion entitled, "Losers" where he talked about a Filipina pediatrician, a 

rabid member of Tea Party who ran for Congress in Ohio's 8th district and lost. She tweeted a line 

deriding about Obama's victory claiming "history repeats itself in the likes of: Stalin, Hitler, Mao Tse

Tung and now Obama!!!" Her tweet drew furious and contemptuous reactions from the public. It is one

case depicting how one Fil-Am in the US was making a mockery of herself by distorting her sense of

fairness by allowing herself to be so "brainwashed" that she can no longer make a decent choice of how

to behave well into the political arena of matured people. After reading CDQ's column I proceeded further

to the comment portion and came across with readers' reactions and their pros and cons. Someone using a

name, "joshua kings" listed a number of 7 derogatory items and it was followed with a reply from "leubas," 

claiming that his list of alleged Obama "blunders" are unfounded because of Obama's victory and that 

the Fil-Ams who nurtured those misconceptions were out of touch of the American majority and only 

succeeded in showing their having been blinded by the misguided sentiments advanced by the Tea Party

and only proved their colonial mentality by taking the position of some conservative white Americans 

like what "Agana" did.

You got it right. The other guy's perception is so full of loopholes that it's hard for us to connect  how come Obama is reelected if the other guy's "litany" of undesirable points against Obama is true. It's just like crying over "spilled milk." The fact of the matter is that, despite the deluge of negative ads bombarded and unleashed by Republicans to paint Obama as the most "unlikable" creature on earth, Obama still won because no matter how you distort everything the "truth" will always come out like a piece of gold covered or enveloped with "artificial" dirt. I was even surprised to see in the newspapers in the days prior to election that a supposed US political map that appeared in the "survey" was almost covered with color "red" meaning the area was predominantly controlled by a Republican majority. But I did not lose hope and just like what Obama said in his victory speech, he made special mention about those who "for the first time voted for him." 

I felt me and my wife were alluded to because we voted  for him and voted "straight" Democratic Party ticket in that recent election after becoming US citizen for our more than a decade stay in the US and that was the first time we voted in a presidential election.
