Kaban ni D_BystandeR: DILI IYA SA MANANAKOP ANG PAGKUTLO UG KINABUHI SA IYANG DAKPONON???

It was considered a triumph of Justice  by a bereaved mother Janeth Badana who lost her 17-year-old son Ronron Go at the hands of a police officer SPO1 Adonis Dumpit who shot her son to death almost 10 years ago on December 14, 2004. The decision convicting him of homicide was handed down by RTC Judge Ester Veloso of Branch 6. Even if the youth had committed something against the law but the police has no power to kill the youth because we have our laws that governs it. It is considered a social problem and there are a lot of factors that could be regarded as something that drove the youth to commit a crime but it is not within the power of the police to kill somebody unless it falls under the exemptions defined by law. The mother extend thanks to the two volunteer lawyers: Alfred Yann Oguis and Rizalina Zozobrado, whose  relentless efforts in court proceedings have  greatly contributed to the promulgation of  the desired justice; also to the Office of the Ombudsman and to NBI special  investigator Arnel Pura, for giving the mother the needed moral support in her time of extreme crisis.
