In whatever way a man plays his role, whether he works for an honorable and respectable personality or for a discredited scoundrel, there is always an end to everything that he championed in life. But what remains to be considered as an important milestone of his previously occupied career and work ethics is his ability to become the unyielding source of establishing good relationship with his peers and fellowmen that will enable him to leave an indelible imprint on the people whose lives he touched to make a difference.

Footnote: This comment came out in connection with a Philstar headline, "Ex-Palace spokesman on life support."  This tells about Jerry Barican, a former Malacanang Palace spokesman who is reported to be on life support after he suffered a heart attack. It was said that Jerry Barican, who is a lawyer by profession, was among those who were sent to jail during the time when martial law was declared by Marcos. In another development, another former Palace spokesman, Lito Gorospe, was reported to have succumbed and died of heart attack recently. He was said to have worked under Pres. Ferdinand Marcos, his son Bongbong Marcos when he served as  Governor of Ilocos Norte, and also to Rep. Imelda Marcos. He was said to be among a selected few whom Ferdinand Marcos trusted during his reign.
