Kaban ni D_BystandeR: GANUKOSNUKOS ANG COMELEC SA PAGDUMILI SA MGA BOTANTE

Note: This is in reply to someone who calls himself, "DOM," in connection with comments posted in its "comment portion" in Philstar, with the news entitled, "Supreme Court junks petition vs 'no bio-no boto.'" It came out on December 16, 2015.

I am just curious and concerned as a Filipino that although I cannot vote because I am now residing in the States but I take special cognizance of the fact that the Comelec has been so callously detached, indifferent not to give consideration to a big number of voters - 3M - who will surely be disenfranchised because of their 'no bio-no boto' policy. The big bulk of the 3M voters is such  that we cannot just simply ignore the problem and that something should have been done to solve it instead of totally dismissing them as a "group of tamads." And we should bear in mind that this 'no bio-no boto' is just one of the latest kind of solutions that our Comelec "bright boys" have come up with to deter electoral fraud. Before that there was that kind of "indelible ink" applied to the index finger of a voter so he can be prevented from voting again if he shows up in another precinct to vote because his index finger bore the mark of that indelible ink which cannot be easily taken off. How sure are we that this 'no bio-no boto' will be able to prevent electoral fraud of wide scale proportion like what happened in the "hello Garci" incident in 2004 where GMA was heard over the phone as dictating to a Comelec commissioner to ensure that her majority over FPJ will not be less than 1 million votes?
