The big disparity in the original proposal of P26.8B which was reduced to P10B is showing something that Gov. Jun, despite his reported closeness to P-Noy, was not able to defend it (the original proposal) maybe because he failed to study the urgency of the said proposal or that he lacked the courage to articulate his views and concerns for its defense to have it realized for the recovery of the huge damage incurred by the towns in northern Cebu which were badly pounded with devastating effect of that monster typhoon Yolanda. Just imagine, from 103,000 houses it is reduced to 12,000 houses to be built out of the reduced proposal, saying it was reduced to make it realistic.

Maybe the Governor needs a little time to study the whole proposal first so he can make a comprehensive decision and a convincing stand to really help the typhoon victims now reeling helplessly with no other recourse to turn to.
