Renato, it is not merciless persecution. Rather it is poetic justice. Why, what did you think? That the pursuit of justice ended with  your removal from office? No, that was just the beginning. It's about time that justice be pursued to the very end, to serve as a deafening lesson to the abusive-servants of the people. I cannot add any other comment to the kind of eloquence that fittingly summarizes the kind of incorrigible crook that Corona personifies while in office in his desperate attempt to rebut the indefensible truth that confronts him.

Footnote: Former CJ Corona decried the new perjury and P130M forfeiture cases against him and his wife Cristina that were approved by Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales, who testified in his impeachment trial in 2012.
