The International Criminal Court exists for those people who have legitimate grievance in consonance with its policy and preamble of existence. If the complaint against Digong has remained dormant and gathering dust at the  receiving section of ICC,  that's good enough a consolation to justify the hefty admission fee.

Substantially, there is nothing to expect from ICC  to take its regular proceedings based on the dubious testimonies of Lascañas and Matobato who lied through their teeth during the Senate Inquiry.  Hence, it’s  a  sham, baseless and whimsical complaint, so to speak.

The voice of the people is the voice of God. The surveys reflecting the high trust rating on Digong's anti-illegal drug campaign, his unprecedented rise into power, and his unconventional leadership skills all point to the credible declaration of Time Magazine's "most influential figure".

It’s one thing to see the trees and looking further one realizes that it's a forest. The unforgiving truth is that there are still the restless few out there who could not accept their embarrassing defeat at the hands of a “probinsyano”. This smack of arrogance of people who believe that leaders are made in Manila is antiquated. Social media and the throng of believers of change can't be hoodwinked, never again.

To all ambitious presidential wannabees, better wait for your turn on the next presidential election fever. Who knows, the responsible electorate may cast a scornful look at you again.
