Talking about the extra marital affair of Speaker Alvarez and trying to use it as a weapon against him by comparing it with  De Lima and boyfriend Ronnie Dayan is of no moment.  De Lima utilized her boyfriend as   bagman inside the NBP where collections of bundles of drug money from big time drug lords to finance her political senate candidacy was the controlling factor. 

In other words, De Lima used her boyfriend in furtherance of committing a large scale crime as drug protector inside New Bilibid Prison. Whereas in  the case of Speaker Alvarez there is no crime committed but is purely about a meeting of the minds of liberated adults to make themselves happy with what they consider as responsible attraction between people of opposite sex.
